Do-it-yourself test

At DELTA, you can gain access to the test facilities and carry out your own EMC pre-test and thereby test whether your product is sensitive to appliances that emit electromagnetic noise.

You can give your new electrical and electronic products a good start by testing them for their robustness against electromagnetic interference. An EMC pre-test that you carry out yourself, will give you a general idea of how your product will react in different user situations – close to mobile telephones, routers, RF transmitters and other equipment. EMC stands for Electromagnetic Compatibility and expresses the product’s ability to electromagnetically function together with other electrical or electronic equipment without interference or breaking down.

By becoming a member of the EMC Club, you automatically gain access to DELTA’s do-it-yourself facilities, where you can test your product against a number of basic standards. For example, you can test your product’s immunity to high field strengths.

In a do-it-yourself pre-test, you may use DELTA’s advanced facilities, you also gain access to a specialist from DELTA during the booked time. This provides you with the opportunity to purchase EMC advice or help with the test, if you need this. In addition, you can get do-it-yourself training in standards at meetings in the EMC Club.
